Hello parents and caregivers,

Happy Thanksgiving for all who observe this holiday!! We trust you’ll all have a nice extended break this weekend. The school will be closed on Monday, Oct. 12th.

When students return after the break we are going to roll out our next PBIS Blitz with a focus on teaching, reviewing, and reinforcing school wide expectations for bathroom use. By demonstrating respect, responsibility, and safety in our washrooms, students help create a positive environment for everyone. This includes using the space appropriately, avoiding horseplay, and keeping the area clean and welcoming for others. Working together, we can ensure that all areas of our school are safe, respectful, and well cared for. We appreciate your support in reinforcing those expectations as well.

As stated in the last message we ask that all families complete the forms assigned to your child in School Cash Online. This includes the media/photography release. This form is especially timely with our upcoming Picture Day on October 23rd. If we do not have signed consent, your child will not be permitted to have pictures, which are also used in the yearbook. Please ensure that forms are signed and school fees are paid.

With the colder weather in the mornings, we encourage families to send their children with a hat and gloves that can be worn when needed.

As a measure of safety, we remind all families that you are to enter the building only through the front doors if you need to pick up or drop off your child. Only staff members are permitted to enter the building through other doors. We kindly ask that when you enter, you then remain at the front office and allow staff to retrieve your child or assist them with where they need to go. We appreciate your support in ensuring safety for all.

That’s all for this week!
