Hello parents and caregivers,

Here is your weekly message for the week of Oct. 5th – 9th.

The Holiday Bazaar

We are bringing back AHM’s Holiday Bazaar this December! Our Holiday Bazaar is an in-school event that allows our students to shop and have gifts wrapped for their immediate family.

We are reaching out to ask our AHM families for donations of gently used items to make this event a success. Items such as small books, puzzles, board games, toys, craft supplies, jewelry, kitchen items, holiday décor, and wrapping paper/gift bags. Remember, these items must be able to fit in a child’s backpack after the event.

If you would like to drop off a donation, there will be a wagon available for your child to put their donation into at the kiss and drop. Donations can also be brought into the office on Monday mornings.

If you are interested in volunteering for the Holiday Bazaar, it will take place on Monday, December 14th. You will need to fill out a volunteer application to AESD. Contact Marisa Jeffrey at [email protected].

Specific details regarding the Bazaar will be sent home in December but we would like to start collecting items now so we can have another successful Bazaar!

Kiss and Drop

Please remember to have your child ready to exit the car on the passenger side of the vehicle when you pull up. It is important that they exit the vehicle as quickly as possible. Please proceed with pulling forward and exiting the parking lot when they do so that the cars waiting can then pull forward. We understand the desire to watch them make their way towards the building, but we kindly ask that you leave that supervision with the staff who are ready to greet and direct them.

Kindergarten Registration

Registration for students starting Kindergarten in the 2027-2028 school year has opened early! Please ensure you follow the steps as outlined on the District Website. Registration – Anglophone East School District

School Fees and Forms

This is a friendly reminder that we are still waiting for many families to complete their student forms and submit payment for school fees. School fees are now overdue.   Please take a few minutes to review and complete these items through SchoolCash Online. Thank you!

Reminder, there is no school on Monday, October 12^th for Thanksgiving.

That’s all for this week!
