Here is the weekly message for April 12th, 2026: 

Service Project for March – Granola Bar Run

The AHM Granola Bar run was a huge success. Thanks to our families and staff we donated 655 granola bar boxes to Feed NB. Congratulations to the top two classes who collected the most granola bar boxes and won a pizza party. 1 Adams with 67 boxes and 4/5 Macoomb with 107 boxes.

• Service Project for April – Community Clean Up:
• During the week of April 20^th students will clean up garbage around the school.
• 
  Learning Habit Focus: Organization
  
  This month at AHM, our learning habit focus is Organization. Organization refers to a student’s ability to manage their materials, time, and tasks in a structured and efficient way to support their learning. Families can support this habit by helping their child establish consistent routines, maintain an organized workspace, and use tools such as checklists or planners to stay on track.

PBIS Outdoor Blitz
We are also continuing to run our Positive Outdoor Behavior and appreciate the support you are giving your child at home by doing the following:

• Asking your child what they are learning about outdoor behavior
• Encouraging them to explain what “safe” and “respectful” looks like at school
• Praising your child when they talk about following expectations

Students are earning lots of tickets and we will celebrate school-wide once we reach our goal!

Triple P Positive Parenting Group

Please see information about the Triple P Positive Parenting Group for parents of children in Kindergarten to Grade 2.  This free course runs May 5-June 16, 2026.

  AHM Book Fair

Will run from April 20-24. More information will be sent home this week from your child’s homeroom teacher about their class shopping time.

• Night of the Arts-Front Row Seating Draw
• Information about the Front Row Seating draw for Night of the Arts will be sent home with your child on Thursday, April 16^th. The draw will take place on Thursday, April 23^rd.
