Hello caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is a special voicemail message for Friday August 30th:

We can’t wait to have our students back!

School begins on Tuesday, September 3rd with a staggered entry once again for all students.  This means that half of the class will come on Tuesday and the second half will come on Wednesday and then everyone will return for the remainder of the week.  For the staggered entry days, all students will enter through the main front doors. Kindergarten students are invited to enter the school beginning at 8:00 am. All grades 1-5 students may enter the building beginning at 8:15 am. Parents are welcome to enter the building to accompany their child to class, drop off any supplies, and meet the teacher.  We kindly ask that parents exit the school by 8:30 so that the school day may begin. Please check your emails for communication from your child’s homeroom teacher if you haven’t already done so.

Beginning on Thursday, and for the remainder of the year, supervision now begins at 8 am for our Kiss and Drop and the playground.  Please note that Rosedale is not a supervised drop off area, use at your own choice.  At 8:25 am, all students will begin to enter the building. There will be no playground supervision before 8 am or after 8:25 am. On rainy days all students will enter the building via the front doors of the school upon arrival.

Don’t forget to bring a labelled water bottle as our water fountains are refill only stations.

Don’t forget your lunch and a snack.  At this point we are not offering cafeteria services. More information will follow on that at a later time. The Breakfast Club will begin on the first day back.

That’s all for now.  Thanks for listening and have a great long weekend.
