Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail message for Thursday October 12th:

Please note that there will be no school tomorrow Friday October 13th due to staff professional learning.

Pre-K registration has started for those children who will be turning five years old by December 31st, 2024.  Registration can be completed online. For more information, visit the ASD-E website at asdeast.nbed.nb.ca/transition-to-kindergarten.

We are still looking for lunch volunteers to help with our new cafeteria services.  The commitment would be to be at the school from approximately 11:50 am until 12:50 pm to help deliver and pick up lunch trays.  We need 5 more volunteers to make our new program work. This subsidized lunch program is a real benefit to families.

We are in search of a seamstress who would be willing to make our Glee Club costumes.  If you or someone you know would be willing to help us, please contact Mrs. Berry at 506-856-3475.

At AHM we work hard to foster independence in our students.  Many students in grades 3-5 are signing up for clubs and activities. It is their responsibility to know when these clubs meet.  Reminders are always on the announcements.

There is a typo on the calendar on the back of our agendas.  It incorrectly puts November 1st as Professional Learning Day for staff with no school when the actual date should be November 3rd.

That’s all for this week.  Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
