Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly message for Friday September 8^th:

Welcome back!  We are extremely pleased with our first week of school.  The students are quickly settling in and learning the new routines and procedures.

We would like to remind everyone of the importance of locks if students are bringing their bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. to school.  Also, students are not allowed to bring technology from home, i.e., MP3 players, tablets, phones, etc.

Should you wish to drop an item off to your child during the school day, please use the plastic bins at the front door of the school.  Label the item. We will be checking the boxes periodically and delivering the items to the students. Please feel free to buzz the office to make us aware you have left something there or let us know if it is needed quickly.

If you are sending your child to school with a snack that requires a spoon or a fork, please also send along the utensil.  We are unable to provide utensils for students.

The student fee for the 2023-2024 school year is $25.  This fee can be paid online via SchoolCash net or by sending in the money to your child’s teacher.  

AHM will be hosting its annual Meet the Staff Night on Thursday September 14^th at 6:30 pm. The evening will begin with presentations in the gymnasium.

The fall picture day will take place on Friday September 29^th.

Just a reminder that all students require a water bottle if they wish to drink water at school.  Our water fountains are refill stations only.

Thank you to Lewisville Baptist Church and Headstart for donating school supplies to a few students/families in need.  We are Grateful Gators for your kindness.
