Good Afternoon AHM Families,

The Week of November 17th, 2025

at Arnold H. McLeod School:

Fuel the Fun Campaign Updates

Thank you to all who attended the Trivia Night at Cheers last night! Everyone had a great time and we appreciate the support towards fundraising for our Fuel the Fun Playground Campaign! A big thank you Cheers Beverage Room for hosting such a memorable evening for our school. “No Brain, No Gain” was the winning team of the evening! Thank you to all participants and staff who attended.

November Service Project

This month each homeroom are collecting ADULT sized, hats, mittens, or socks to donate to Harvest House Atlantic. For over 26 years, Harvest House Atlantic has actively supported those struggling with homelessness, addiction, and mental health issues in Moncton. As the cold weather approaches, our staff and students would once again like to help vulnerable individuals who will go to Harvest House Atlantic to receive much-needed assistance. Your donations are much appreciated. Items are due to the office by Wednesday, November 26th (please note the date change to allow for more time to collect items).

Fill the Bus Campaign

The Annual Fill the Bus Campaign is back again this year!  We have been reigning champions for the last 12 consecutive years! This is our school’s service project for the month of December, and we are looking for your support.  Give what you can.  We are also looking for a corporate sponsor if any parents are interested. Tax receipts are issued for large donations. The campaign runs from November 24th – December 31st. We are waiting to find out which grocery store we will be volunteering at as a school on December 6th. You can donate HERE

NB Student Wellness and Education Survey and Parent Survey

A reminder to parents to please take a moment to complete the NB Student Wellness and Education Survey.  All information was sent by email directly from the district this year. Students in grades 4 and 5 will be completing the survey in their homerooms. This is information that guides our school improvement planning. The survey is open until Friday, November 28th. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Holiday Concert

Save the date for our annual Holiday Concert.  The concert will be held on Thursday December 11th with performances at 9:15 am and 12:15 pm.  All classes will perform in each show.  We look forward to seeing you.  As admission to the concert, we are looking for donations towards our Fill the Bus Campaign (non-perishable food items).  Tickets for a chance to win front row seating for up to 4 people for the concerts will be sent home next week.  It is $2/ticket or 3 for $5.00.  If you would like more tickets, please let your child’s teacher know.
