FILL THE BUS CAMPAIGN
Thank you to all grade 4 and 5 students & AHM staff that volunteered at the Trinity Superstore on Saturday morning this past weekend! We raised roughly $3500 in food and cash donations… WOW!!!!
This is our school’s service project for the month of December, and we are looking for your support. Give what you can. Tax receipts are issued for any donation of $25 or more.
The campaign runs until December 31st. You can donate for Fill the Bus on School Cash HERE.
***Special class incentive: classes are also collecting non-perishable food items and the K-2 and 3-5 classes that collect the most will win a PIZZA PARTY!!! Those class baskets are already starting to fill up!
Holiday Concert
It is HOLIDAY CONCERT WEEK! We invite you to join us for “A Yeehaw Yuletide”. The concert will be held this Thursday, December 11th with performances at 9:15 am and 12:15 pm. Please note that doors will only open 15 minutes prior to each performance regardless of the weather conditions.
As admission to the concert, we are looking for food donations towards our Fill the Bus Campaign (non-perishable food items).
Holiday Bazaar
We are bringing back the Holiday Bazaar on Monday, December 15th. Our Holiday Bazaar is an in-school event that allows our students to shop and have gifts wrapped for their immediate family. The gifts have been generously donated by members of our school community and will only cost $1 each. All proceeds will go towards AHM’s new playground. The following form has been sent home with your child, money for the gifts and the gift tags must be returned in a Ziploc bag to your child’s teacher by Thursday, December 11th. The form will also be uploaded onto School Cash as an option to pay online as well.

Cafeteria Update
A reminder that the cafeteria is closed this Thursday for the concert. If you have placed orders, please cancel them to receive your refund for that day.

- Tuesday, Dec 16 – Red and Green Day
- Wednesday, Dec 17 – Dress Like an Elf Day
- Thursday, Dec 18 – Ugly Sweater Day
- Friday, December 19th – PJ Day
Upcoming Dates
- December 11th – Holiday Concert with shows at 9:15 and 12:15. (Snow Date is Dec. 12th). Our cafeteria will be closed. Students are asked to bring their own lunch that day.
- December 15th – The Holiday Bazaar (more info coming in a separate email and forms being sent home today)
- December 18th – Last day for hot lunch before the holiday.
- December 19th – Last day of classes before the Holiday Break
