Good morning caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School, 

This is the message for the week of June 16th, 2025.  

June 16 to June 20 is Theme Week: 

Monday June 16 – Hat Day 
Tuesday June 17 – Dress to Impress/Fancy Day 
Wednesday June 18 – Sports Day 
Thursday June 19 – Neon Day 
Friday June 20 – Tropical Day 

As of right now, the last day of school, June 20th, is still a full day.  Students will be dismissed as usual.  Report cards cannot be given out prior to dismissal.  If your child is absent on that day or leaving early, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope and your child’s report card will be mailed to you. Alternatively, you can simply look at the report card on the Parent Portal. 

Please note that the cafeteria services closed on Friday June 13th.  We would like to thank all our volunteers and cafeteria staff for their wonderful work! We hope that this is a program and service that we can continue in the fall. Please remember to pack your child a lunch this week! 

Just a reminder: should you wish your child to take a bus to a location that is not your home for the 2024-2025 school year or if you are in a shared custody situation with bussing to two locations, you will need to fill in an Alternate Conveyance form.  Please contact your child’s teacher for a form. The forms are filled in now to allow transportation to process the forms over the summer and avoid up to a three week wait in September for bussing to be arranged. The school cannot speed up this process in the Fall. 

AHM will be continuing with paperless forms. Parents are required to fill forms in online. This is done through School Cash Net. Please register via the district website under the “School Fees and Forms” before beginning of the year.  This initiative will allow us to save a considerable amount of paper and you to save time by completing the forms prior to the school year beginning.
