Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail message for Thursday December 21:

Tomorrow dismissal for all walkers and daycare students will be at 10 am. K-2 bus students will depart at 10 am as well. Grade 3-5 bus students will depart at 10:45 am.

Please note that school will resume after the holidays on Monday January 8th.

Beginning January 2023, the Lost and Found bins will be emptied and donated to a local charity on the last Friday of the month. We will display items the week prior for staff and students to look through. The school does not have the capacity to store the enormous volume of unclaimed items compared to previous years. We have collected 14 bags of “Lost” items term 1.

Good new AHM families:

1. Our 16 cabinets to organize the stage have arrived. The stage will be functional again by the end of January. Did I hear Night of the Arts music already?
2. We are getting a new gym floor by the end of March. The flooring will even have our school mascot Arnie in the middle. We are so excited.

The staff at Arnold H. McLeod School would like to wish all of you a wonderful holiday season and all the best in 2024. Thank you to all the volunteers who make the school run smoothly for nutrition snacks, hot lunch, and breakfast club daily.
