This is the weekly voicemail message for Friday January 17^th:

Great News! We did it again! AHM is the 2024 Elementary School Champion for the Fill the Bus Campaign. We raised 14,033.62. Thank you for all your generous donations. We are very proud to keep the trophy at AHM for another year.

The parent session for the French Immersion program for current Kindergarten and Grade 5 students took place last week. Registration forms have been sent home to those 5 homeroom classes. They are due back by Jan 22^nd.

If students go home on a daycare bus it is the responsibility of the parents to notify the daycare that they are absent from school or if they were picked up early. Without that in place the daycare pickups are delayed as the duty teacher must seek out the whereabouts of the student before the daycare can leave. This has led to significant delays in the daycares arriving at their next pick up or drop off locations.

A reminder that parents driving their children to school in the morning are asked to use the kiss and drop. If you wish to park and walk them to the playground, we kindly ask that you park on the side streets in the area rather than along Storey Rd East. With such a small staff parking lot that area is used for staff parking as well and must remain available. Thank you for your understanding.
