Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail message for Thursday November 2nd:

Please note that there will be no school tomorrow Friday November 3rd due to staff professional learning.

Each month at AHM, students participate in a service project.  So far this year the students have participated in Becca Told Me to Day and made cards for the hospital.  Our monthly service project for the month of November is in support of Harvest House.  We will be collecting adult sized hats, mittens, and socks to donate to this charitable organization.  For more information, please see the handout that was sent home in your child’s backpack this week.  We are accepting donations up until the end of the month.

Just a reminder that we have our first Transition to K event for our future Kindergarten parents starting school in the Fall of 2024.  This adult meeting is at 6:30 pm in the gym.

Please note that there will be no school on Monday November 13th as we observe Remembrance Day.

The NB Student Wellness and Education Survey is now active. This is for all families with a child in K-5. By completing this survey, you are helping decision makers better understand the needs and strengths of our students in our community. Please see the information sent home.  The survey can be completed online using the QR code provided on the handout or the website.  You will need the survey code that is also on the handout.

That’s all for this week.  Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
