AHM is excited to announce that First Nations author Christy Jordan Fenton will be visiting on Monday May 27th. All students will get to hear Ms. Jordan Fenton read from some of her many books like “When I Was Eight”, “Not My Girl” and “Fatty Legs”. Her books are co-written with her mother, a residential school survivor.H
Wednesday May 29th is National Red Shirt Day for those wishing to show their support for persons and families who are living with disabilities.
It is now field trip season. Please ensure that your child is dressed for the weather. It is also a good idea to bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray. Please also return your child’s permission slip as soon as possible so that there is no delay or scrambling the day of the trip.
