Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail message for Friday June 14th:

Next week AHM will be having a special theme week to celebrate the last week of school.  Students and staff will be encouraged to dress in the following themes:

Monday June 17th Senior Citizen Day

Tuesday June 18th Hawaiian Day

Wednesday June 19th Pirate Day

Thursday June 20th Patriotic Day

Friday June 21st PJ Day

Please join us in celebrating Mrs. MacNeill’s retirement on Thursday June 20th from 3:30 – 4:30 pm for a drop-in reception at AHM.  We look forward to celebrating her wonderful career.

As of right now, the last day of school, June 21st, is still a full day.  Students will be dismissed as usual.  Report cards cannot be given out prior to dismissal.  If your child will be absent on that day or leaving early, please send in a self-addressed stamped envelope and your child’s report card will be mailed to you. Alternatively, you can simply look at the report card on the Parent Portal.

There are several parents who have not paid their 2023-2024 student fees. Please pay online or send the money to the school with your child.

Attendance letters will be sent home Monday. Please sign and return one copy to the school, and keep the second copy for yourself.

Mrs. Davidson, our school librarian, is asking for all students to check under their beds and their bookcases for any stray library books that need to make their way back to their rightful place.  Your attention and help with this are greatly appreciated.

That’s all for this week.  Thanks for reading.  Have a great weekend!
