Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail message for Friday December 1st:

Report cards will go home on Monday December 4th.  Please check your child’s backpack.  Sign the enclosed form and return it along with the envelope to your child’s teacher.

Please note that there will be no school on Friday December 8th due to the Parent Teacher Interviews that will be occurring that morning.  Parent Teacher interviews will also take place on Thursday November 7th until 6:30 pm. If you do not have an appointment time, please check with your child’s agenda for the information.

Our annual holiday concert will take place next week on Thursday December 14th at 9:15 am and 12:15 pm.  We invite you to join us for “Dear Santa”.  Please note that doors will only open 15 minutes prior to each performance regardless of the weather.  As admission to the concert, we are asking for a donation of a non-perishable food item for our local food bank as we are participating in Anglophone East’s annual Fill the Bus campaign.  We are also conducting a class competition for the Fill the Bus campaign.  The class from K-2 and 3-5 who collects the most items for the collection will receive a reward from Mrs. MacNeill.  The Fill the Bus collection date is Wednesday December 20th.

The Holiday Bazaar will take place on Friday December 15th. All items are $1 and students are only permitted to buy for their primary caregivers (for example mothers, fathers or guardians).  A huge thank you to our Home and School for organizing this wonderful event. The snow date for this event is Monday December 18th.

It has been announced that Friday December 23rd will be a half day for students.  Transportation has yet to be finalized.  Please note that your child may arrive home on a different bus than normal and that students in K-2 may not arrive home with their siblings in Grades 3-5 as dismissal times could be different. We will share this information with you as soon as we have it.  Parents, please share this information with your daycare provider.
