This is the weekly voicemail message for Friday December 15^th:

Next week AHM will be hosting a holiday theme week. A handout was sent home this past week with the theme for each day.  It is also attached to the end of this email.  We will begin the week with the theme of Holiday Hat or Hair.

It has been announced that Friday December 22^nd will be a half day for students. Dismissal for all walkers and daycare students will be at 10 am.  K-2 bus students will depart at 10 am as well. Grade 3-5 bus students will depart at 10:45 am.  Parents are asked to inform their daycare provider of the 10 am pickup time.

Grade 5 students and AHM Staff will be at the Superstore on Saturday December 16^th from 9 am until 2 pm.  Drop by to say hello or to make a donation. Donations collected on that day go towards AHM’s totals for the Fill the Bus campaign.

Thank you to the Home and School volunteers for another successful gift card fundraiser and Holiday Bazaar.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who are making the Breakfast Program and Hot Lunch Pilot Project so successful.  We could use another lunch volunteer from Monday to Friday from 11:50 am until 12:50 pm.  Please contact the school for more information 506-856-3475.

Monday December 18^th – Friday December 22^nd

Here is a list of the dates for our annual holiday theme week to boost our holiday spirits:                                                

MONDAY DECEMBER 18^th              HOLIDAY HAT OR HAIR DAY

• Wear your favorite holiday themed hat or create a fun holiday theme with your hair.

TUESDAY DECEMBER 19^th               RED AND GREEN DAY

• Dress in red and green!

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 20^th     DRESS LIKE AN ELF DAY

• Be your best “Buddy the Elf” and don your elf clothes.
• Monthly Assembly after lunch.

THURSDAY DECEMBER 21^st           UGLY SWEATER DAY

• Dress in your best and ugliest holiday themed sweater or better yet make your own!
• LEARN Celebrations for the month of December: Free Play K-2 (circulating among 11 homerooms); Bingo and Board Games Grades 3-5 (no electronics)

FRIDAY DECEMBER 22^nd                  PJ Day

• Come to school in your cozy holiday pajamas!
• The school will sing holiday carols in the gym in the morning.
• This day is a half day.
