Good afternoon caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,

This is the weekly voicemail for Friday February 7th:

For those students who wish to bring Valentines to school for their classmates, we cannot provide full class lists to parents due to privacy laws but a list with first names can be requested from your child’s teacher. If you feel the need to provide a treat for the class, please remember to follow the nutritional policy by providing fruit, veggies or cheese and crackers.  Alternatively, stickers, pencils or erasers are also a great option.

Blue profile sheets were sent home this week.  Please update the information contained on the sheet as it is necessary for us to be able to contact you.

The last week before March Break students will be participating in Winter Carnival theme days.  There will be lots of fun and different themes each day.  Stay tuned for the handout that will be sent home early next week with the details.

Please note that there will be no school on Monday February 17th due to the New Brunswick Family Day holiday.

AHM students will be learning about Black History during the months of February and March.  It will be integrated into their current learning outcomes in a variety of subjects.

That’s all for this week.  Thanks for reading and have a great weekend.
