Good morning caregivers of Arnold H. McLeod School,  

                   Below are the school updates for the week of May 20th:  

Jump Rope for Heart  

AHM will be participating in our annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraising event. The school benefits by receiving 10% of all money raised. We appreciate your support for this worthwhile fundraiser.  The fundraiser will be ongoing until May 28th. 

Pre-K Visit  

Thursday, May 22nd is our Kindergarten Orientation Day for those students who will begin their school journey with us in September. Current Kindergarten students will stay home that day. An invitation is being sent via mail to all our registered pre-K students.  

Provincial Assessments Gr 4 & 5  

Provincial Assessments have been ongoing for students in Grade 4 and 5. This coming week, Grade 5 students will write the grade 5 math provincial assessment from May 20th to 22nd.  The assessments will take place at different intervals during the day, depending on the class schedule. It is important that your child is well rested, arrives at school on time and has a nutritional breakfast.   

Family Bingo Night 

We hope you will join us for AHM’s Chocolate Bar Bingo Night on Thursday, May 29th at 6:00pm!  This is a family event to help us raise money for AHM’s Fuel the Fun Campaign to replace our current playground. Notices with more information will be sent home with students today.
