Hello AHM Families,
As we head into another busy week, we have a few friendly reminders and upcoming events to share.
Please keep toys, trading cards, and other personal items at home. These items can easily be misplaced and are not permitted at school. With colder weather arriving, students should also come dressed appropriately for outdoor time. Please label coats, hats, mittens, and other belongings so lost items can be returned more easily. If your child is already missing something, be sure to check our school Facebook post for photos of our current Lost and Found.
On Tuesday, October 27, all AHM students will take part in our bus evacuation practice drills.
Looking ahead to Halloween, students are welcome to dress up on Friday, October 30. Please remember that masks and weapon accessories are not permitted. In keeping with district policy, treats cannot be brought to school to share with classmates.
We also look forward to seeing families at our Halloween Family Dance on Friday, October 30, from 6:00–7:30 p.m. Tickets are available on SchoolCash and must be purchased before October 27, as space is limited for this family event.
The AHM Clothing Store is now open! Visit Arnold H. McLeod School | Doyle Corporate Image | powered by OrderMyGear to order your school gear. The store will remain open until midnight on November 8, with orders arriving in time for the holidays.
Mark your calendar! Families with children starting Kindergarten in the 2027–2028 school year are invited to our Pre-K meeting on Thursday, November 12, at 3:30 p.m.
Finally, we continue to collect donated items for our Holiday Bazaar each Monday morning in the Kiss and Drop line. Donations can also be dropped off at the main office throughout the week as well.
Thank you for your continued support. Have a wonderful weekend!
