Specific instructions about which door your child will enter on the first day will also be included. Please note that class lists may change as new enrollments occur and if your child is affected you will be notified.
3) Bussing Information
Bussing information for all students has been uploaded by the school district to the parent transportation portal. Please verify your child’s information as some bus numbers and pick up times have changed from last year. It is recommended that students be at their bus stop a minimum of 5 minutes before their scheduled pickup time as times vary based on traffic flow, construction and other factors. Also, please remember that k-2 students must be supervised by an adult at the bus stop and will not be dismissed from the bus unless an adult is present. A sibling in grades 3-5 is not permitted to walk them to/from the bus stop or to walk home from school.
4) Kiss and Drop
The school driveway and parking lot have safety markings to make walking as safe as possible. Cars must go in one direction only. Please obey signs to ensure the safety of our students. Parents who are driving their children to and from school are requested to enter the driveway on the top end of Storey Road East. You must stop momentarily to let your child out, then continue up the U turn back onto Storey Road East. Bus Zone and Handicapped Parking are located in front of the school. All other vehicles please follow the Kiss and Drop rules.
KISS AND DROP PROTOCOL:
- Please have your child ready to get out with their belongings when arriving and stopping the Drop off Zone.
- Do not park in the Drop off Zone and walk towards the building.
- Please do not exit your car.
- Have your child exit the vehicle on the passenger side.
- Check your blind spot prior to pulling out into the exit area.
- Please obey the stop sign as you exit the Kiss and Drop and enter back on to Storey Road East.
