Here is the weekly message for May 10, 2026: 

🍿 Popcorn Sale! 🍿 

Home & School is excited to offer a special Popcorn Day.

For just $2.00 per bag, students can enjoy a tasty treat that will be delivered directly to classrooms on Thursday, May 14th.

All orders must be placed ON SCHOOL CASH by Wednesday, May 13th at 5pm.

Even better — 100% of proceeds will support our Fuel the Fun Playground Campaign as we continue working toward enhancing outdoor play opportunities for our students.

Family Spring Fling Dance

We hope you will join us for AHM’s Family Spring Fling Dance on Friday, May 29th from 6:00 – 7:30pm! This is a family event to help us raise money for AHM’s Fuel the Fun Campaign to replace our current playground.

Date/Time: Friday, May 29th, 6:00-7:30pm
Cost: $20 per family paid ahead of time on school cash online.

Important Details:
– Log into school cash online, fill out the form and pay $20 for your family ticket.
– The only footwear allowed in the gym is socks, so please be prepared!
– Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, May 26th as there are limited spots.
– There will be a canteen, a 50/50 draw and a prize wheel which will be accepting cash only.
– There will be tables and chairs set up for kids to take a break and eat their snacks and for parents to relax while their children dance the evening away.
– Parents are responsible for their children at all times.

Scent Free School

We want to remind everyone that our school is a scent‑free environment. We have adults in our building that have severe allergies and sensitivities to fragrances, including perfumes, body sprays, scented lotions, and strong-smelling products. Even small amounts can trigger serious reactions. To keep our community safe, please ensure that students and adults arrive at school without scented products. Your cooperation helps us maintain a healthy and inclusive environment for everyone.

Service Project for May – Thank you cards

This month students will be creating thank you cards for our volunteers.

Learning Habit Focus: Responsibility

This month at AHM, our learning habit focus is Responsibility. Students will work on taking care of their belongings and school property. Working hard to complete their work on time. Finally, accepting responsibility for their actions and managing their own behaviors.

PBIS Outdoor Blitz
We continue to run our Positive Outdoor Behavior and appreciate the support you are giving your child at home by doing the following:

• Asking your child what they are learning about outdoor behavior
• Encouraging them to explain what “safe” and “respectful” looks like at school
• Praising your child when they talk about following expectations

Students are earning lots of tickets and we will celebrate school-wide once we reach our goal!
