Night of the Arts

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support our Arts program fundraiser and donations made to our Fuel the Fund playground fundraiser. We are very appreciative of our generous school community.

Scent Free School

We want to remind everyone that our school is a scent‑free environment. We have adults in our building that have severe allergies and sensitivities to fragrances, including perfumes, body sprays, scented lotions, and strong-smelling products. Even small amounts can trigger serious reactions. To keep our community safe, please ensure that students and adults arrive at school without scented products. Your cooperation helps us maintain a healthy and inclusive environment for everyone.

Service Project for May – Thank you cards

This month students will be creating thank you cards for our volunteers.

Learning Habit Focus: Responsibility

This month at AHM, our learning habit focus is Responsibility. Students will work on taking care of their belongings and school property. Working hard to complete their work on time. Finally, accepting responsibility for their actions and managing their own behaviors.

PBIS Outdoor Blitz
We continue to run our Positive Outdoor Behavior and appreciate the support you are giving your child at home by doing the following:

• Asking your child what they are learning about outdoor behavior
• Encouraging them to explain what “safe” and “respectful” looks like at school
• Praising your child when they talk about following expectations

Students are earning lots of tickets and we will celebrate school-wide once we reach our goal!

Kiss and Drop Off

Just a friendly reminder that we have two amazing staff members there to help at the Kiss and Drop in the mornings. They can assist students so that parents don’t need to get out of their vehicles. This way the line continues to move smoothly.  I also heard you can earn tickets for staying in the vehicle and help the entire school reach our goal for a school wide celebration.

Cafeteria Menu

Update: We are still waiting to hear if a new cafeteria menu will begin this school year or if it will be on hold until September. Stay tuned.

June 12- Last day for Cafeteria
