Good Evening AHM Families,

The Week of November 23rd, 2025

at Arnold H. McLeod School:

November Service Project

Last call for any items for Harvest House! They are due on Wednesday, November 26th. Thank you to those who have donated this year! We know Harvest House will appreciate these greatly.

The Holiday Bazaar

We are bringing back AHM’s Holiday Bazaar in December! Our Holiday Bazaar is an in-school event that allows our students to shop and have gifts wrapped for their immediate family. We are reaching out to ask our AHM families for donations of gently used items to make this event a success. Items such as small books, puzzles, board games, toys, craft supplies, jewelry, accessories holiday décor, and wrapping paper/gift bags. Remember, these items must fit in your child’s backpack after the event. Thank you to those who have already given. A special drop-off time has been scheduled for Saturday, November 29th between the hours of 8:30am and 2:45pm. Bring your items that day and our Home & School committee members will place them in our storage container.

Fill the Bus Campaign

The Annual Fill the Bus Campaign is back again this year!  We have been reigning champions for the last 12 consecutive years! This is our school’s service project for the month of December, and we are looking for your support.  Give what you can.  We are also looking for a corporate sponsor if any parents are interested. Tax receipts are issued for large donations. The campaign runs from November 24th – December 31st. We we will be volunteering at the Trinity Superstore on December 6th. We will have staff and student volunteers that day. You can donate for Fill the Bus HERE. The link is already live!

NB Student Wellness and Education Survey and Parent Survey

A reminder to parents to please take a moment to complete the NB Student Wellness and Education Survey.  All information was sent by email directly from the district this year. Students in grades 4 and 5 will be completing the survey in their homerooms. This is information that guides our school improvement planning. The survey is open until Friday, November 28th. Thank you in advance for your participation.

Holiday Concert

Save the date for our annual Holiday Concert.  The concert will be held on Thursday December 11th with performances at 9:15 am and 12:15 pm.  All classes will perform in each show.  We look forward to seeing you.  As admission to the concert, we are looking for donations towards our Fill the Bus Campaign (non-perishable food items).  Tickets for a chance to win front row seating for up to 4 people for the concerts will be sent home this week.  It is $2/ticket or 3 for $5.00.  If you would like more tickets, please let your child’s teacher know.
