Good evening caregivers of future kindergarten students of Arnold H. McLeod School! 

We will be holding our first pre-K meeting for adults only on Monday, December 2nd at 4:00pm. This is visit #1 for any parents or caregivers who have children starting at Arnold H. McLeod School in kindergarten in September 2025. We will greet you at the door and the presentation will be held in the gym. 

This initial parent meeting is Step 3 in the five step pre-kindergarten process. Step 3 is an opportunity for you to come to the school in person. This is also a great opportunity for information sharing and we will discuss transition tips. Your child remains at home for this visit as it is just for the caregivers to receive information.

This is an important step in supporting your child’s transition to kindergarten!

Step 4 will happen in February and Step 5 will take place at the end of May. I will try to give you those dates well in advance so you can plan to attend with your child for those two visits to the school. Both those visits, are visits for your child to meet their future teachers and have a chance to visit their classroom participating in kindergarten activities.
