This is the weekly voicemail message for Friday September 16^th:

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come to our Meet the Teacher event yesterday.  It was wonderful to have everyone back in the building.

We would kindly ask all caregivers who wish to walk their students to the playground to use the sidewalk and crosswalk near the Kindergarten playground.  Please park on Story Road East.  There are many staff trying to park and bussing exiting the driveway.

Next week students will be learning more about Terry Fox to gear up for our Terry Fox Walk which will take place September 23^rd. Students can purchase tickets for $1.00 each for a chance to win a Terry Fox t-shirt. All money raised goes to the Terry Fox Foundation. The draw will be on the day of our walk.   If students would prefer to buy a shirt, they may do so.  Order forms will go home next week and are due back by Friday September 29^th. If you return your order form by Tuesday, September 20^th, there is a good chance your shirt will arrive in time for the Terry Fox walk on Friday. Just a reminder that Thursday September 29^th is picture day.

There will be no school on Monday September 19^th as it has been declared a National Day of Mourning in view of the late Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s recent passing.
